Founded in 1998, Sign Solutions is a specialist British Sign Language agency committed to breaking down barriers and tackling inequality. Alongside delivering communication support, we promote a culture of inclusion, accessibility and equality in everything we do.

Our executive team

Clare Vale

Managing Director
Clare is the Managing Director and has been with Sign Solutions since January 2005. Clare's professional background is in Accountancy, and she enjoys working in a business that enables equality within the Deaf community. Mum to two amazing daughters she enjoys the simple things in life, making the most of everyday moments. She likes to keep active, whether that is hitting the gym, walking or dancing in a Zumba class.

Charlotte Boyce

Operations and HR Manager
Charlotte joined Sign Solutions in 2006 and has grown with the company from Project Manager to Operations and HR Manager. Charlotte is also Health and Wellbeing Champion and Mental Health First Aider. Her passion is people and she enjoys the varying tasks and fast paced environment of her role. In Charlotte’s spare time she enjoys travelling, outdoor pursuits and spending time with her family and friends.

Beth Sprigg

Head of Non-Spoken Operations
Beth joined Sign Solutions as a Booking Coordinator in 2019 and is now Head of Non-Spoken Operations. She oversees operations across both our pre‑booked and on‑demand services. She also plays an active role in supporting both clients and interpreters throughout their journeys with us. Outside of work, Beth loves getting lost in a good book, and enjoying the Welsh countryside with her family and her two rescue dogs.

Daniel Foxall

Finance Manager
Daniel joined Sign Solutions in January 2013 as Accounts Assistant to the Finance Manager. Daniel’s responsibilities have increased to now include payroll, forecasting and accounts. Now, promoted to Finance Manager. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys playing golf and going out with friends.

Sophie Kang

Sales and Marketing Manager
Sophie joined Sign Solutions in August 2019 as Customer Development Manager. She now manages the Sales and Marketing team and works to support organisations in how they can become accessible to the Deaf Community. Sophie studied British Sign Language and Deaf Studies at University of Lancashire and outside of work enjoys gardening and spending time with her friends, family and dog Ziggy!

Danielle Dawber

Regional Account Manager
Danielle is a Regional Account Manager at Sign Solutions, working with a wide range of public and private sector organisations to improve access and outcomes for the Deaf community. She specialises in delivering accessible, high-quality interpreting and translation services, building strong client partnerships that drive meaningful and measurable impact. Outside of work, Danielle enjoys spending time with family and renovating her 1950s home.
