Julia: TI to MRSLI
Sign Solutions is delighted to announce that our very own Julia Anderson has now qualified to MRSLI status. It has been a long hard slog, but after months of writing countless essays and compiling an extensive portfolio of video recordings, Julia has finally completed her NVQ 6 Interpreting Portfolio Collection Programme which she began in 2009.
Now, as MRSLI, Julia can up her game and ascend from the low-key GP appointments and team meetings to the more challenging and exciting assignments in the legal field.
Commenting on this fantastic achievement, Julia says:
"I'm so pleased to have achieved my qualification and to be registered as MRSLI. I know that the hard work doesn't stop here and I am continuing to develop my professional skills all the time. I'm thrilled to be joining the fabulous Sign Solutions court interpreting team and look forward to learning from them as I begin the next stage of my career. A big thanks to my assessor, Karen Nicholson, and my tutor, Elvire Roberts, for all their support and guidance."
Julia is our 73rd interpreter to qualify through our celebrated Signature Accredited Level 6 Assessment Centre. In 2008, Sign Solutions Training Centre was a regional WINNER in the UK's National Training Awards, Midlands region, and the National Awarding Body, Signature, cites the Sign Solutions Assessment Centre as a Centre of Excellence.
We boast a 100% success rate, and the success of our programmes is attributed to the high standards of our service delivery and the exceptional knowledge base of our tutors and assessors, including our "excellent" Head of Interpreting Byron Campbell.
