HANDS-ON, VISUAL FRAME OR DEAFBLIND INTERPRETING
Experienced professional interpreters to assist deafblind people, providing hands-on, deafblind manual alphabet or Visual Frame interpreting.
DEAF RELAY / COMMUNICATION INTERMEDIARIES
Experienced deaf people who work alongside BSL interpreters with users who are not fluent either in sign language nor English and therefore require a language intermediary to facilitate communication.
TRANSLATORS
We can provide experienced translators who can provice high quality English to BSL (DVD, VHS or online media) or BSL to English (written or spoken) translations. To ensure quality, accuracy and fidelity we use deaf BSL presenters who work in conjunction with a qualified BSL/English interpreter.
NOTETAKERS
Because it is difficult for a deaf person to write notes when they are watching a BSL speaker or interpreter/lipspeaker, notetakers may be used to provide a written notes or a summary of lectures or meetings.
All Sign Solutions LSPs (Language Service Professionals) are covered by our professional indemnity insurance. All interpreters, lipspeakers, speech-to-text-operators and deafblind interpreters and are bound by a rigorous Code of Ethics which ensures that you will receive the professional service which you expect. We only use fully qualified or appropriately trained service providers. Only qualified LSPs are used for 'legal' bookings.
